Nice to meet you. I’m Joseph.

I’m currently based in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, known for its balance of historical charm and innovation. It’s here that I’m working towards my master’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Edinburgh. Often referred to as the “Athens of the North”, Edinburgh has an intellectual vibrancy that complements its historic charm.

My academic interest lies in sensor networks and embedded programming. Among my notable experiences, I’ve contributed to the software development for the flight computer of the Darwin III rocket with Endeavour Rockets. I’m drawn to the intersection of electrical engineering and software, exploring the digital aspects of the vast field of electrical engineering.

Edinburgh’s scenic cityscapes often find a way into my photography. I’ve recently been trying to shift away from smartphone-centric photography, or “computational photography”, to a more traditional form using a mirrorless camera. It’s a small but significant way for me to learn a new hobby and develop a skill that feels more personal and hands-on.
